We request/encourage you to read the Owner's Manual to know your Vehicle including the detailed Warranty terms and conditions. The summarized version is given below for your quick reference.

Every new Ford vehicle is covered for three years or 100,000 km (whichever occurs earlier) from the vehicle sale date (“Warranty Term”). This Warranty is applicable only in India and not transferable to any other country.

Battery Warranty:

The OEM fitted battery in the vehicles comes with 40,000 Kms / 02 Years warranty, whichever occurs earlier.

Every new Ford vehicle is covered for three years or 100,000 km (whichever occurs earlier) from the vehicle sale date (“Warranty Term”). This Warranty is applicable only in India and not transferable to any other country.

Battery Warranty:

The OEM fitted battery in the vehicles comes with 40,000 Kms / 02 Years warranty, whichever occurs earlier.

  • WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

    This warranty does not cover the following items.

    1. Normal maintenance service required other than the 02 free services, including without limitation, oil and fluid changes, headlight aiming, fastener retightening, wheel balancing, wheel alignment and Tyre rotation, cleaning of injectors, adjustments of ignition timing, clutch and valve clearance.
    2. The replacement of normal wear parts including without limitation, lubricants, fuel filters, air filters, spark plugs, brake pads, door run channel, oil filters, wiper blades, emission valve, hoses, odour/mesh/cow pollen filter, rubber boots, friction materials, clutch facings and bulbs, tyres, paint work, panel etc. or bodywork and their components made of glass.
    3. Any vehicle which has been used for competition or racing or off road, defects caused by misuse, negligence, abuse, theft, attempted theft, abnormal use or insufficient care and maintenance, improper or insufficient fuel, fluids or lubricants.
    4. Any repairs or replacement required as a result of accidents or collision, any vehicle which has been modified or altered or tempering, any vehicle on which parts or accessories not approved by Ford have been used and defect is caused by carelessness, abnormal use or insufficient care or the use of non-approved parts.
    5. Batteries, Audio Systems and Tyres originally equipped on Ford vehicles are warranted directly by the respective manufacturers and not by Ford.

    This warranty does not cover the following items.

    1.     It is the entire written warranty given by Ford for Ford vehicles and no dealer or its or his agent or employee is authorized to extend or enlarge this warranty and no dealer or its or his agent or employee is authorized to make any oral warranty on Ford’s behalf. Ford reserves the right to add any improvements or change the design of any model at any time with no obligation to make the same changes on units previously sold.

    1. Proper use, maintenance and care of vehicle in accordance with the instructions contained in the Owner’s Manual and Service Booklet. If the vehicle is subject to severe usage conditions, such as operation in extremely dusty, rough, more repeated short distance driving or heavy city traffic during hot weather, maintenance of vehicle should be done more frequently as mentioned in Owner’s Manual and Warranty and Service Guide.
    2. In order to maintain the validity of this warranty, the vehicle must be serviced by Ford authorized in accordance to Owner’s Manual and Warranty and Service Guide.
    3. Retention of maintenance service records. It may be necessary for the customer to show that the required maintenance has been performed, as specified in Owner’s Manual and Warranty and Service Guide.
    4. Delivery of the vehicle along with Owner’s Manual and Warranty and Service Guide during regular service business hours to any Ford authorized dealer to obtain warranty service.

    What if ownership changes?

    Even if ownership of the vehicle changes, the remaining warranty term is effective for the new owner.

    Disabling the connectivity device due to change of Owner – if ownership of the vehicle changes, ensure the previous / primary owner disables the vehicle from his Ford pass app via the “Remove vehicle” option so that the previous/ primary owner will not be able to access the vehicle details via the Ford pass App.

    Even if ownership of the vehicle changes, the remaining warranty term is effective for the new owner.
