Ford India Sells 21,198 Vehicles in March

NEW DELHI, India, April 1, 2016 – Ford India’s combined domestic wholesales and export sales in March grew to 21,198 vehicles up from 15,775 vehicles in the corresponding month last year.

March domestic wholesales grew to 7,560 vehicles against 5,253 units, while exports grew to 13,638 vehicles compared to 10,522 units as in the same month last year.

“We continue to delight customers with India’s youngest, vibrant and most capable product portfolio,” said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, Marketing, Sales, and Service at Ford India. “Thanks to the unmatched quality and value on offer, our vehicles and SUVs like Figo, Figo Aspire, EcoSport and the all-new Endeavour, are today being loved by customers and critics alike.”

In March, Ford EcoSport topped global automotive research firm J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study in the SUV category consecutively for two years in 2014 and 2015.
