Hyderabad, India, 29 April 2016 – Going further to create a pool of talented and skilled professionals, Ford India today inaugurated its eighth Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) Centre in Hyderabad.

Built in partnership with Government ITI, Musheerabad, the exclusive technical training corner within the premises will train students on Ford technology as part of Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV) curriculum. Till now, Ford has forged partnerships with Industrial Training Institutes across Kochi, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Mohali, Chennai, Sonepat and Jaipur to establish ASSET Centers.

“Given its focus towards enhancing the curriculum as well as skills-set of students, Ford’s ASSET program is proving to be a real asset not only for us but the automotive industry at large,” said, N Prabhu, vice president, Ford Customer service operations. “With our newest ASSET center in Hyderabad, we are adding another chapter to its growth and opening up avenues for students as they get certified on Ford technology and trained to deliver a differentiated experience.”

The ASSET training facility is a tri-party initiative involving Ford, the dealers, and the ITI. The center aims at training students with practice kits including Ford training material, tool kit, component display and cut section to train Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) students on Ford exclusive training curriculum. Ensuring its sustenance and success, Ford’s technical training collaboration under ASSET includes exclusive Train-The-Trainer (TTT) sessions for institute lecturers, along with special sessions with Master Technician from Ford dealerships.
