DEHRADUN, February 08, 2018 – Ford India today inaugurated AVS Ford in Dehradun, thus bringing the promise of a differentiated customer experience even closer to customers in Uttarakhand.

Led by Atul Verma, dealer principal, AVS Ford, the new AVS Ford showroom is located centrally at Vardan Plaza 68, Majra Saharanpur Road, Dehradun- 248001. The Service and spares facility is located at Shri Chaman Vihar, Niranjanpur GMS Road, Dehradun-248001.

While inaugurating AVS Ford’s new facilities, Vinay Raina, executive director, Marketing, Sales & Service at Ford India said, “Affordability and Accessibility are two cornerstones of our customers focus, and we are happy to deliver on both with AVS Ford. With a sales and service touchpoint every fortnight, we are growing closer to customers and letting them experience our products and surprisingly affordable service offerings.”

The new AVS Ford showroom is spread over 4,310 square feet and offer Ford’s vibrant and dynamic portfolio including the All-New Ford EcoSport, as well as the Ford Endeavour, Ford Aspire, Ford Figo and iconic Ford Mustang.

The company’s product line-up in India today offers a vehicle to suit the needs of nearly every consumer. Ford recently introduced it's first Compact Utility Vehicle - Ford Freestyle - to add to the diverse portfolio. The all-new Freestyle will address the growing consumer demand for SUV-like vehicles and introduced in Q2 of the calendar year 2018.

The Service and Spares workshop at AVS Ford is spread over 10,775 square feet with nine dedicated mechanical bays for servicing. The new facility will also enable customers to experience benchmark service by following guidelines and initiatives such as:

The promise of trust & transparency through Service Price Promise: A benchmark of transparency, the service price promise on Ford India website will allow customers to know the cost of periodic maintenance even before booking the service at AVS Ford. Using the Cost Calculator, customers carrying the print-out of the web quote will get treated to complete trust and transparency in service and parts pricing.

Ensuring Savings through Sub Assembly Levels for Repairs: For vehicles coming to AVS Ford for servicing, the ‘Sub Assembly Levels for Repairs’ will enable a substantial saving in the overall ownership costs by breaking up an auto part into sub-components.

Also, Ford’s customer-focused initiatives such as pan-India Roadside Assistance, Quick Service Support*, Mobile Service Vans, Vehicle report card is part of the process across a network of 465 sales and service facilities in 267 cities across the country.
